Tips for Kids: How to be safe on the internet!

I'm sure everyone's using social networking sites like Facebook, Yahoo, Gmail and Twitter



Tip #1: Change your password frequently:

Nothings wrong with changing your password... Remember don't let anyone know your password (exept for your mom and dad.) Well, don't choose a new password like a pets name (Ex:Rover, Lucky,Doggie)
your birthday (Ex:1/1/11) Even your family members name.

Tip#2:Change your privacy settings to "Friends Only":

If you uploaded photos, videos, status messages, people you don't know (strangers) will see it.

Tip#3: Tweets are Private!

Make your tweets private. So people you don't know can't see you activity.

Tip#4: Check your search engine!

If you don't want to get searched by other people, check your search engine!

Tip#5: Don't give any information:

*1. Your address
*2. Contact information (Cellphones and Landlines)
*3. Your real age
*4. Don't tell other people on facebook where you go. ( Checking in)
*5. Don't add people you don't know.
